The Word of God declares that, “The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil.” Proverbs 15:28 (New King James Version) Christian Counseling, may not be for the resistant person, unless they come to that place of compliance to take on duty and process out something that obstructs personal progress. Counsel resists the impulsive and the inclination to act on sudden urges. It takes the time to ponder the circumstance in the light of God's Word, and then considers how to best proceed in expressing the truths found therein. “But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.” (1Peter 3: 15) This counseling centre helps counselees understand their hearts to promote a sincere standpoint or view. Counsel would not be counsel if counselors immediately run to conclusions without thought. Christian counseling ponders all biblically viable options prior to offering any other direction. |
