| The Serious Woman
This will answer some of the numerous questions encountered all the time. We always taught this in Bible College that studying and attaining a degree does not necessarily position one behind the pulpit. Study will help one to speak words of wisdom from a trustworthy relationship with The Lord. Words will carry a tangible anointing causing convicted persuasion for a deeper commitment. Whether a position is earned or not, the words you speak must pull people out of the dark edge into HIS marvelous light.
If called to just be a support to your husband or your pastor then be it and be the best backup. Smart women know how to become an influential standby. When your husband, pastor or anybody is doing a pretty fine job building sons and daughters for God’s Kingdom, then there is no reason to seek recognition. I will be happy making biryani and baking cupcakes.
For every good intention, a challenge awaits you at some point. Its one thing to follow through unthinkingly and another thing to discern and see some actions that are undesirable and unwholesome. That draws some serious attention because people are followers to what you do. What we honour is what we become. In times like these there’s a place called the “secret place” where our commitment, sincerity and allegiance is pronounced. It’s private and reserved and no intruders allowed. Been there and it’s not easy.
God is not man, He will make positive interactions with anointed people. He will set you up with the right connections to speak into your life. He changes fear and passivity to a place of power, influence and moral decision. After a long time He calls you to be the real “you”. He provides, protects, heals and delivers. Become that serious woman to rely on the power of The Father. All great legacies carry a big price tag.
